Beginner Watercolor; Wednesdays @ 5:00 (drop-in)

This weekly, 90-minute class supports the development and exploration of basic and essential watercolor skills. In this class, instructor Cait introduces watercolor fundamentals, such as materials, tools, techniques, vocabulary, and broad compositional concepts. Information and skills will include color mixing, brushwork, composition,  layering, and so on. Each class balances guided instruction with personal experimentation so that everyone can develop their own style.

The format of this class is bite-sized and flexible, where participants may join week-to-week according to their interest and availability. The goal is to enable an approachable, relaxed environment with an emphasis on creative exploration, curiosity, and establishment of watercolor building blocks. This bite-sized and flexible approach means this class is best suited to those who are new to watercolor or those who have experience, but seek a refresher or seek a setting that motivates growth and expansion. This class offers a supportive and inspiring environment, as participants grow and advance their watercolor abilities.

All materials included. Ages 14 and up are welcome. Classes are "drop-in", meaning you have the option each week to sign up and attend :)
