Printmaking is the art of creating images by transferring ink from a carved surface onto paper, a process that has been used for centuries to make books, posters, textiles, and fine art. From woodcuts to screen printing, there are many forms of printmaking, each with its own history and style.
In this class, we’ll enjoy block printing while creating seasonal cards for the special humans in your life. This workshop is beginner-friendly and also appropriate for those with printmaking experience; participants will be guided step-by-step through the process. Attendees may develop their own design or find creative inspiration through the instructor's design mentorship.
Each participant will leave with 6 cards (and envelopes). Ages 14 and up are welcome.
