Felted Easter Eggs; Sat, Apr 4 @ 10:00am

A wonderful activity for children and adults. This 2-hour workshop includes both wet felting and very simple needle felting techniques. Felting is a process that leverages the binding response of wool fiber to agitation, through friction, temperature changes, or other "shocks." Each participant will leave with a felted egg, which includes a hollowed interior for stashing gems, treasures, and spring delights.

We'll enjoy the mess and wonder of wet felting to shape a colorful, unique, tactile, woolen egg in honor of the Spring season. As our eggs begin the drying process, we will explore very basic needle felting technique to shape small spring chics for our eggs. The full drying of eggs will be completed by at home.

This workshop is appropriate for adults and children; children younger than 10 years must be accompanied by an adult.
