Improvisational Quilting is an intuitive, free-form modern quilting technique. Rather than planning out your finished design, this technique encourages you to make decisions as you go, embracing the “wonky”, and finding joy in a chance composition.
In this 3-hour, beginner friendly class, we will play around with this technique and you will leave with a small “sampler” quilt top, that you can hang on your wall as is or continue adding to at home.
You must already know how to use the basic functions of a sewing machine (Private sewing machine instruction can be booked leading up to the class).
All materials are provided. You may bring fabric from your personal stash if desired.

Cancellation Policy
For classes that are multiple dates or a series, cancellations must be for the entire session, rather than individual dates. Refunds described below are less credit card fees. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance of the start of a class or session are fully refundable; cancellations that are made within 7 - 14 days prior to the start of a class or session are 50% refundable. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of a class or session are not refundable. Note that classes with less than 3 students enrolled are subject to cancellation by Estero Bay Art + Craft and will be fully refunded, including credit card fees.
