Introduction to Block Printing; Sat, Aug 22 @ 2:00pm
Also known as linocut or stamp carving, block printing is a hands-on printmaking process where you carve a design into a block, roll it with ink, and print it by hand. In this class, students will turn a simple drawing or idea into a hand-carved printing block, then use ink and paper to create a set of original prints. Participants will leave with the skills and experience to continue this rewarding, playful, and satisfying art form at home.
