Introduction to Nature Journaling, Nov 16, 2:00-3:30pm
Nature Journaling uses words, pictures and numbers to record our experiences with nature. Journaling can be scientific, meditative, or somewhere in between. Nature journaling can help us to slow down, pay attention, and get curious about the wonder and beauty around us.
In this 90 minute class we will start by creating a nature journal page together as a group, step by step. We will then have time to practice our new skills independently with a subject of our choosing. Finally, we will gather and share our experiences. If weather and time permits, we may walk a short distance to outdoor space.
EBAC is incredibly fortunate to have Mary Sturm, founder of the Central Coast Nature
Journal Club, hosting this demonstration and introduction.
Bring a blank journal (unlined) or paper. And something to write with, such as a fine line
permanent marker or pencil. You do not need to purchase any special materials. However, if you have colored pencils or paints, feel free to bring them.

Cancellation Policy
For classes that are multiple dates or a series, cancellations must be for the entire session, rather than individual dates. Refunds described below are less credit card fees. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance of the start of a class or session are fully refundable; cancellations that are made within 7 - 14 days prior to the start of a class or session are 50% refundable. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of a class or session are not refundable. Note that classes with less than 3 students enrolled are subject to cancellation by Estero Bay Art + Craft and will be fully refunded, including credit card fees.
