Cooler weather is coming. Be prepared to keep yourself and your loved ones warm with a cozy knitted beanie. Beanies are a great way to expand your knitting skills by learning to knit in the round. You'll learn how to use both double-point and circular needles to achieve seamless knitting. This pattern is knit from the top down, so we'll tackle all the shaping of the hat first. The cuff of the hat is a simple rib stitch. Join us as we get ready for winter!

Prerequisite: You should know how to cast-on, knit, purl, and cast-off.

Materials: Bring the following materials with you (materials are not provided):
  • 4oz worsted weight yarn (about 220 yards)
  • Size 9 (or size needed to get a gauge of about 4.5 stitches per inch)
    • 16" circular needle
    • 7" double-point needles

Length: 3 hours

Cancellation Policy

For classes that are multiple dates or a series, cancellations must be for the entire session, rather than individual dates. Refunds described below are less credit card fees. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance of the start of a class or session are fully refundable; cancellations that are made within 7 - 14 days prior to the start of a class or session are 50% refundable. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of a class or session are not refundable. Note that classes with less than 3 students enrolled are subject to cancellation by Estero Bay Art + Craft and will be fully refunded, including credit card fees.
