Visible mending clinic with decorative stitches and patches :) 

Tackle your mending pile! This beginner-friendly clinic welcomes students to bring 2-4 clothing items with holes or stains that need patching or creative repair. Learn to transform worn garments into unique pieces using visible mending techniques and hand stitching. Participants will be taught and guided by professional sewing instructor Barbara Abbott. 

All materials and instruction provided, including custom patching material, stitching supplies, embroidery stitches, Sashiko techniques and more. Participants will leave with a refreshed wardrobe of repaired garments and skills to take home that will add both beauty and durability to your clothing. 

No experience necessary—just bring your items and we'll supply the rest.

Length: Each time slot is 30 minutes. Maximum 4 participants per time.

Cancellation Policy

For classes that are multiple dates or a series, cancellations must be for the entire session, rather than individual dates. Refunds described below are less credit card fees. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance of the start of a class or session are fully refundable; cancellations that are made within 7 - 14 days prior to the start of a class or session are 50% refundable. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of a class or session are not refundable. Note that classes with less than 3 students enrolled are subject to cancellation by Estero Bay Art + Craft and will be fully refunded, including credit card fees.
